Company Marketing Strategy

The company marketing strategy will cover analyzing export and local market opportunities researching and selecting target markets, designing marketing strategies, planning marketing programs with. This will include the following steps.

Analyzing market opportunities. The purpose of this part is to identify potential long run opportunities given the company’s market experience and core competencies. To evaluate these opportunities, we need to assess buyer wants and needs, and gauge market size, the firm needs a marketing research and information system. Next, the firm studies consumer markets or business markets to find out about buying behavior, perceptions, wants, and needs. Smart firms also pay close attention to competitors and look for major segments within each market that they can profitably serve.

Developing marketing strategies. In this step, we will develop a positioning strategy for each new and existing product’s progress through the life cycle, makes decisions about product lines and branding, and designs and markets its services

Planning marketing programs. To transform marketing strategy into marketing programs, we will develop a necessary plan related to basic decisions on marketing expenditures, marketing mix, and marketing allocation. The first decision is about the level of marketing expenditures needed to achieve the firm’s marketing objectives. The second decision is how to divide the total marketing budget among the various tools in the marketing mix: product, price, place, and promotion and the third decision is how to allocate the marketing budget to the various products, channels, promotion media, and sales areas.

Study will cover comprehensive market intelligence to asses the long term predictive growth of the industry in general and prospects for the company. Assessment will include both internal and external factors necessary to build successful export strategy.

Analyze present export markets. Examine the performance and dynamics of a country’s export markets for company products and related products, identifying the number and size of export markets and the concentration of exports and highlights countries where market share has increased.

View the competitors in the global market. Competing countries, exporting the same product, are ranked in terms of value, with additional indicators on quantities, growth and market share, highlighting the position of a country in world exports, as well as the position of neighboring countries.

Assess competitors in specific export markets. View a country’s competitors in the leading target markets, with information on the export performance of these competitors, showing the number of supplying countries and their performance in the market.

Find information on market access barriers. This function provides tariff-line information on countries’ major instruments of trade control.

Review opportunities for product diversification in a specific market. Make a comparative assessment of import demand for related products in the market under review and identify whether similar products are imported by the country under review and if synergies are possible.
